IonQ Quantum Technology
IonQ builds quantum computers using trapped ion technology, leveraging individual atoms of ytterbium as qubits. These ions are suspended in space by electromagnetic fields inside a precisely controlled trap, offering industry-leading stability and coherence times.
With the use of finely tuned lasers, IonQ performs quantum operations with high fidelity, allowing for complex, scalable computation that is well-suited for solving real-world problems in fields such as machine learning, chemistry, and logistics.
